The Women’s March in Washington, DC was about diversity and social activism. The social causes, sentiments, and ideas represented in the posters at the march were as multifaceted as the hands that carried them.
These signs, even those that included humor, signify democracy…the voices of the people by the people. The underlying messages of discontent and worry for the future should be acknowledged by our society and especially by the lawmakers who were elected to serve these constituents.
